  •  Navigate to desired deposit wallet (watch a newbie do this, it will take them a while, if they can do it at all, as all exchanges are different, and most are not intuitive or user friendly or even use standardised naming conventions or terminology) 

  • Select crypto asset you want to deposit or wallet you are using)

  • Select network you wish to use for the transfer (this can be a choice of one or many depending on the denomination you are sending and the exchange

  • NB, if you are a total newbie, you might not know or understand this step and just send your crypto on whatever default network is set in the exchange, potentially resulting in PERMANENT LOSS of assets or paying network fees which may be many orders of magnitude higher than necessary.

  • Note the dire warning that if you do not use the correct details at the other end of this process, it will result in the PERMANENT LOSS of your assets. 

  • Check if there is a memo required for deposits.

  • NB, no memo supplied when one is required for deposits often results in the PERMANENT LOSS of your assets.

     

  • Find login details for withdrawal account, these are (hopefully) stored somewhere securely, possibly offline but maybe in an online “vault” under yet another layer of passwords and 2FA) 

  • Navigate to withdrawal account (search through your bookmarks, PLEASE do not use a search engine to reach your login page or you may be phished)

  • Login to withdrawal account.   • Navigate to desired withdrawal wallet (watch a newbie do this, it will take a while, if they can do it at all, as all exchanges are different, and most are NOT intuitive or user friendly or even use standardised naming conventions or terminology)

  • Go back to deposit wallet (this may have timed out now, you may need to login again)

  • Go to deposit wallet address and copy address 

  • Go back to withdrawal wallet and paste deposit address into correct field

  • Go back to deposit wallet copy memo 

  • Go back to withdrawal wallet and paste memo into correct field. If there is no memo field, please go back to step 9 and repeat with new exchange, bearing in mind your assets are in your current exchange so must be transferred to the new exchange first or go back to step 1 if the deposit exchange can be changed but the withdrawal exchange cannot.

  • Check the network options for this denomination. If a common protocol is not available to both exchanges, go back to step 1 or 9 or consider using a bridge to convert the protocol to the correct one (allow a few hours to learn how to do this and find a bridge that deals with these protocols, but be VERY careful, bridges can be highly risky)

  • If all fields are now correct and you have checked them at least 10 times and made sure that none of the fields have auto-filled a previous address or you have accidentally missed a digit when copying and pasting, hit withdraw. But first, maybe send a smaller amount to check that it does arrive at the deposit wallet. Please allow up to 12 hours for the asset to arrive and be confirmed. 

  • After sending a $10 test amount of crypto (network fees can be $30 - $50) and seeing it arrive safely in the account, you can now send the $100 you originally wanted to send (having also spent between $30 and $50 in fees to achieve it) although it has now been possibly an hour and the logins have timed out and you need to start from step 1 again.

  • Consider whitelisting your other accounts, but not now of course, as many exchanges will lock your withdrawals for 24 – 72 hours when you add a new address to the whitelist, so do it at a time when you won’t be presented with any opportunities and don’t need to actually transfer assets for any reason for a few days……

  • Spend many hours watching YouTube videos of varying accuracy and quality to see if there are better ways to do transfers

  •  Buy courses on “crypto mastery”! 

  • Give up and never use crypto again or press on and in a year or so, you will have it all cracked but may have lost all of your money and much of your sanity in the process.

    Q: How long will the founder packs be available?

    A: We cannot give a specific time when the packs will be available until as we can’t yet know how quickly we will reach our funding goals.
